Systems Engineer - VeloCloud SD-WAN

Salary: $122,000 - 162,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate with a BS/CS/CE degree or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• We require 5+ years of experience in WAN, networking, or cloud services, including time spent in Service Provider or Managed Service Provider settings.
• We need a solid understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, along with WAN technologies and SD-WAN.
• We value experience supporting pre-sales efforts, including technical presentations, solution architecture, and Proofs of Concept.
• We are seeking someone who can build long-term credibility and trust with a wide range of stakeholders across MSP/SP organizations.
• We expect excellent communication, active listening, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with or supporting MSP/SP organizations and understanding their structure and operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux, hypervisors, cloud computing, and tools for logs, metrics, events, and alerting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting such as REST APIs, Python, and Ansible is a plus.
• Understanding of Service Provider routing environments, including MPLS VPN and Segment Routing, is beneficial.
• Experience co-developing or enabling managed services is a strong advantage.
• Network industry certification is a plus.

• We will have you own a dedicated set of MSP/SP accounts and serve as the primary technical relationship leader for those partners.
• We will rely on you to build strong, enduring relationships with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• You will help partners design, package, and bring differentiated SD-WAN and SD-Branch managed services to market.
• You will create and deliver tailored enablement programs for GTM, operations, NOC/support, and product management teams.
• You will guide partners in integrating VeloCloud SD-Branch into OSS/BSS platforms, service assurance tools, and delivery workflows.
• You will support the use of REST APIs, log and metric export, and multi-tenant orchestration capabilities.
• You will co-sell alongside partner sales teams by delivering presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to customers and prospects.
• You will lead solution design, technical RFx responses, and Proof of Concepts to align architectures with business goals.
• You will work with partners to expand managed service offerings across campus switching, wireless, and security.
• You will represent us at industry events, MSP forums, partner events, and conferences.
• You will act as the voice of the MSP/SP channel by feeding structured product feedback to our Product Management and Engineering teams.
