WorkSource is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations, including maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, processing employee forms, coordinating communications, and supporting company events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee personnel files by scanning, organizing, and filing documents in the proper location.
• Assist with distributing annual employee notices and tracking completed acknowledgments.
• Process payroll deduction forms and maintain related records.
• Issue and track safety shoe vouchers.
• Post open positions on Indeed and assist with recruitment activities.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Assist with planning and supporting company cookouts, employee events, and other HR initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous administrative or Human Resources experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and proper recordkeeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
