The purpose of a Banquet Server is to assure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation for food and beverage service. Ensure guest satisfaction through meeting room cleanliness and attention to guests' needs.

Ensure that a high level of sanitation and cleanliness is maintained before, during and after each shift.

Be able to read a Banquet Event Order, answer guest questions, and be willing to go above and beyond to please our guests.

Know the menu for each function and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation methods for each item served.

Assist managers and captains in setting up and breaking down functions while enforcing all policies and procedures.

Extend courtesy and goodwill to everyone at all times, making the guest event memorable.

High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English.
