About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: MedSurg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (CPI can be obtained on-site for certain units) Must-Have: - Comfortability in both medical surgical and behavioral health settings as needed - Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care - Strong interpersonal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively - Solid written and oral communication skills - Ability to tolerate moderate to high stress levels Description: Registered Nurse for MedSurg/Tele setting. The role includes providing care to patients with various diagnoses such as diabetes, gastrointestinal, respiratory, renal conditions, and wound care. Patient care may involve preparation and monitoring for patients with chest tubes, tracheostomies, and intravenous lines. Successful candidates will have experience with telemetry strip interpretation and medication administration, including PCA pumps and gtt management for various medications. Working as a team with CNAs and support staff is essential. Staff will have access to rapid response and hospitalist teams, with specialized services available 24/7. The work environment promotes patient-centered care and strong teamwork. Technology utilized includes an electronic medical record system and standard medical equipment.
