Weekend RN Supervisor

Saturday & Sunday | Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts

We are currently accepting applications for a Weekend RN Supervisor to join our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care.

This position is ideal for a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse who is committed to providing excellent resident care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining a positive and professional environment. The Weekend RN Supervisor will provide clinical leadership and oversight of nursing operations each weekend.

Qualifications

Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
Long-Term Care experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Must be dependable and comfortable supervising nursing staff and resident care

Essential Job Functions

Oversee the daily nursing care and clinical needs of residents each weekend
Supervise and provide leadership to nursing staff
Ensure resident care is provided according to established plans of care, policies, and procedures
Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure appropriate follow-up and communication
Assist staff with clinical concerns and resident care needs
Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation
Promote a safe, professional, and resident-centered environment
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, and administration
