Special Needs Bus Aides Hiring Pool Upcoming School Year beginning August 24, 2026, except scheduled holidays Monday-Thursday, hours vary. Pay rate- $17.25/hour. Responsibilities- Adhere to the safety requirements when buckling a student into a car seat or safety vest. Report any problems with the safety vest or car seat to the bus driver. Follow all recommendations in loading/unloading/transportation procedures as defined by the IEP/504 team. Ensure the safety of students during loading/unloading/transportation. Report any medical incidents to the Special Education Director. Consistent attendance. Training preferred CPR. Positive Behavior Management Strategies. Student-specific interventions/Medical plans.
