Step Into the Heart of Heavy PowerEach shift, you’ll keep a high-demand industrial facility energized and safe. You’ll open the day reviewing logs, checking PDUs and switchgear status, and prioritizing preventive maintenance. When a PLC throws a fault, you trace I/O, scan ladder logic, and bring automated equipment back online. If a generator test is scheduled, you verify transfer switch operation and confirm load balance against updated panel schedules. Throughout, you follow LOTO, arc flash, and OSHA procedures to protect yourself and your team.What You’ll DoMaintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems to maximize uptimeOperate and service switchgear, panels, and facility power distribution equipmentWork confidently on high-voltage systems (208V, 480V, and above)Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment (I/O, sensors, fault codes)Maintain generators and test/repair transfer switchesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagramsUpdate panel schedules and execute load balancingInstall and maintain conduit, cable tray, and wiring systemsApply LOTO, arc flash, and OSHA safety practices on every taskDocument work orders, logs, and maintenance records with accuracyRequired QualificationsJourneyman Electrician License (Alabama or reciprocal state)5+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experienceHands-on expertise with:Switchgear and electrical distribution systemsHigh-voltage work (208V+)PLC troubleshooting (ladder logic, I/O, controls); PLC programming experience a plusGenerators and backup power systemsElectrical safety (LOTO, PPE, energized work practices)Proven ability to work independently and solve complex electrical issuesPreferred Background7+ years in industrial, manufacturing, or critical facilitiesExperience with:480V / 3-phase systemsAutomatic transfer switches (ATS)Instrumentation and control wiringBMS/BAS or industrial monitoring systemsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30Familiarity with NFPA 70EWhere You’ll WorkIndustrial facility environment with indoor/outdoor tasksExposure to heat, noise, and high-voltage equipmentStrict safety protocols and PPE at all timesProficiencies120/208/240/480 voltage systemsJourneyman’s-level electrical practicePLC programming/troubleshootingIndustrial electrical systems and maintenanceTools & TechnologiesPower Distribution Units (PDUs)SwitchgearIndustrial controlsProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLCs)If you bring industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or utility experience and want to work on advanced electrical infrastructure, this role puts you at the center of the action. #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
