Quality Assurance Manager (Office/On-site)

Position Summary Quality Assurance Manager – Full‑time, first shift, 40 hours per week. Location: Albert J. Solnit Children’s Center – South Campus, 915 River Road, Middletown, CT. Statewide travel required. Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards of the Joint Commission. Regulatory compliance with CMS PRTF. Providing assessment of the efficacy of practice improvement initiatives and preparing reports inclusive of data for presentations. Program analysis of staff development and trainings. Management and supervision of staff and programs. Oversight of medical records. Monitoring and analyzing outcomes. Serving as a liaison between the facility and numerous partners both within DCF (e.g., Regional Office leadership) and outside the agency (e.g., Beacon Health Options, advocates). Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Eight (8) years of professional experience in a behavioral health facility, system or research environment. One (1) year of that experience must have been in a professional capacity in a behavioral health quality assurance program. Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, psychology, social work or closely related field; master’s may substitute for an additional year of experience. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation and CMS certification. Experience with Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement initiatives. Experience analyzing and reporting data to inform improvement strategies. Experience in Behavioral Health risk management. Familiarity with Quality Management Techniques (Lean, Six Sigma). Clinical practice in a psychiatric hospital or behavioral health setting. Supervising professional staff in a Quality Assurance and/or Risk Management program.
