Responsibilities Lead by example: Launch new cases, introduce permanent caregivers to families, and model best‑practice care techniques Provide hands‑on care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, mobility, light exercise, meals, housekeeping, errands, and medication reminders Ensure quality & safety: Conduct home‑safety assessments, perform quality‑assurance visits, direct collaboration with Director of Nursing Support our caregivers: skills refreshers, and competency checks to elevate team performance Serve on the on‑call rotation: Help cover caregiver call‑outs, fill urgent shifts, and address client concerns after hours Problem‑solve in real time: Respond to changes in client condition, upscale issues appropriately, and keep families informed Qualifications 5+ year of professional caregiving experience (CHHA required) First Aid & CPR certification Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members Proven ability to coach and mentor peers Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift/transfer clients as needed Comfort with mobile apps/Wellsky for documenting care Compassionate, ethical, and calm under pressure—a true professional in every scenario Compensation $21.00 – $25.00 per hour Benefits / What We Provide Competitive pay Flexible schedules (full‑time and part‑time) Continued training and professional development A culture of like‑minded professionals dedicated to what they do Locally owned and operated agencies in more than 1,000 communities throughout North America At Home Helpers Home Care, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
