HVAC Engineer

HVAC EngineerSystem One is hiring HVAC Engineers for direct, full-time roles supporting engineering projects across the full project lifecycle. While nuclear experience is preferred, candidates from other highly regulated or complex industrial environments are encouraged to apply. You'll work with cross-functional engineering teams, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant HVAC solutions for mission-critical facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support HVAC system design, analysis, modifications, and implementation across project phasesSupport requirements-driven engineering and maintain strong technical documentation and traceabilityContribute through planning, design, execution, commissioning/turnover, and closeoutCoordinate with supply chain and procurement teams for equipment sourcing, vendor technical reviews, and submittalsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and present technical updates to clients and leadership as neededManage multiple deliverables with strong prioritization, deadline tracking, and follow-throughPerform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actionsApply innovative thinking and adaptability while maintaining safety and quality expectationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in EngineeringDepending on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology, or Engineering Science may also be acceptedMinimum 7 years of related experienceGood knowledge of project life cycles, methodologies, and execution phasesGood understanding of HVAC engineering principles within a complex facility environmentFamiliarity with supply chain and procurement practicesExperience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation fundamentalsStrong stakeholder coordination, teamwork, and communication skills (including presentations)Strong organizational skills: prioritization, multitasking, and deadline trackingDemonstrated problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement mindsetPreferred QualificationsNuclear industry experience (preferred, not required)Experience working under controlled documentation and quality-focused processes in regulated environmentsBackground supporting industrial, manufacturing, power generation, or critical facility infrastructureBenefits SummaryCompetitive salary (plus bonus potential)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysRelocation assistanceProfessional development/tuition supportSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
