As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Lenexa, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location, helping support security-related screening activities, monitor access points, and greet employees and visitors with professionalism. In this role, you will remain visible, report concerns, and deliver strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies for a fast-paced technology location.
• Screen people, packages, bags, and/or personal items in accordance with post instructions and report unusual findings or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening and observation practices.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
