We are seeking a Warehouse  Inventory Support Specialist  who is responsible for accurately counting products and investigating discrepancies within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Performs data entry of inventory transfers, receiving of product
• Gathers and records weights and measure of incoming product
• Responsible for handling transfers between warehouses
• Conducts inventory investigations and inputs findings into database
• Accurately completes cycle counts assigned daily
• Verifies purchase order numbers, UPC codes, and quantity of each item to be adjusted
• Prepares appropriate receiving forms and submits to the office by required deadlines
• Divides product by customer, places on skids, and assigns a location
• Loads and unloads trucks at the dock as needed
• Investigates warehouse inventory discrepancies as needed per Manager
• Reserves product for new-store roll-outs as needed
• Brings down skids of restock product to reorder areas as needed or requested
• Updates changes to product location report
• Prepares return to vendor orders and consolidates dead value

Job Requirements:

• Ability to accurately count a variety of products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Ability to work within established time and quality control goals for this area
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Excellent attention to detail
• Basic computer and accurate data entry skills

ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS :  The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, sitting, walking and standing functions.  Frequent repetitive motion activities are required. Must be able to read print and computer based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy.  Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted in a temperature controlled environment with occasional exposure to hot and cold temperature. 

INTELLECTUAL/EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:   The occupant of this position must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure.  The position requires adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.  This position requires the ability to manage a number of projects at one time, and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of others. It also requires adaptability to fluctuate between priorities on a daily basis while being responsive to needs as they arise
