Senior Property Accountant

LHH is working with a privately held real estate development and investment firm based in Darien, Connecticut to hire a Senior Property Accountant. This role is 5 days in-office. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and rent rolls Perform detailed account reconciliations across multiple entities Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activity Handle tenant billings , including CAM reconciliations and maintenance fee allocations Review and interpret lease agreements to ensure accurate financial reporting Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries Support investor reporting, including financial packages and annual budgets Coordinate with external accountants for tax return preparation and filings Prepare 1099 / 1096 / W-2 forms as required Assist with process improvements as internal property management capabilities are established Qualifications 3+ years of real estate accounting experience required with strong background in: CAM reconciliations Lease abstraction and review Maintenance fee accounting Yardi experience strongly preferred High proficiency in Excel and accounting systems Comfortable working in a small, in-office environment with a growing organization Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and take ownership of responsibilities Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
