Digital & Technology - Infrastructure And Operations Engineer

Digital and Technology at Abercrombie & Fitch is fundamental to designing, sourcing, developing, and delivering fashion-forward merchandise to our customers. We are committed to implementing new strategic and systematic approaches to generate dynamic technology solutions for our growing business. The engineer role is responsible for application layout, implementation, and support. The primary focus will be the production support of ANF’s infrastructure & operations application portfolio, including, but not limited to enterprise batch, logging, monitoring, code delivery pipeline and IT service management.

What will you be doing?

Design, develop and implement complex application solutions for Abercrombie & Fitch
Collaborate with other Abercrombie & Fitch engineers and developers to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and automation to maximize efficiency
Support critical production systems to ensure stability and uptime
Plan and document multi-step complex changes
Assist IT and business partners with their application rollout and support
Actively engage vendors to assist in problem resolution
Create and uphold technology standards, processes, and audit methodologies
Continuously improve IT platforms based on retail and application technology trends in support of IT and business strategies
Active member of a 24x7 on-call rotation

What will you need to bring?

2+ years’ experience with application management and support, including one or more of the following: code delivery (Git, Jira, Bamboo, Fisheye, Nexus, Sonar), Splunk, ServiceNow, Solarwinds, and Broadcom Workload Automation
Experience supporting end user application requests, questions, and complex issues
Experience supporting multiple applications atop both Linux & Windows operating systems
Experience automating repeatable tasks
Understanding of basic networking, storage, and information security concepts
Personal attributes: team-oriented, confident, self-starter, strong work ethic, highly motivated, sense of humor, a winning ‘can-do’ attitude
A 4-year degree in an IT related field
