We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Escrow Officer to manage real estate transactions from file opening through closing and post-closing. Prepare, review, and manage escrow documents, closing statements, title documents, lender instructions, payoff statements, lien releases, insurance documents, and other required materials. Review title commitments and tax certificates, identify title issues or exceptions, and coordinate resolution with the appropriate parties. Meet with attorneys, realtors, lenders, buyers, sellers, and clients to draft, review, and explain escrow instructions, agreements, and closing documents. Conduct closings both on-site and off-site, oversee the execution of required documents, and disburse funds in accordance with company procedures and customer or lender requirements. Administer trust accounts in accordance with company policy and handle confidential transaction information with discretion. Communicate professionally with internal teams and external clients by phone, email, and in person to answer questions and support smooth, timely closings. Participate in business development efforts, attend community and real estate events, and build and maintain a book of business through proactive relationship building and client engagement.
