Teacher Assistants

Bergen County Special Services School (BCSS) District Extended Year Program 2026 positions: Teacher Assistants $30 per hour

Qualifications: High School diploma. Effective written and oral expression. Demonstrated ability to work with children with disabilities. Demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting the needs of students with educational disabilities. Must be available to attend orientation; Schedule determined by program to which you are assigned.

Program Dates and Locations: June 29 through July 24, 2026 (unless otherwise noted) All EYP Programs Closed 7/3/26 (in observance of Independence Day) 8:15 a.m.-1:45 p.m.

• Delta Program @ Indian Hills High School, Oakland (June 29 through July 30, 2026, Mon-Thur, four (4) days/week except week two which is Tues-Fri)) 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
• Mahwah Preschool Program @ Lenape Meadows Elementary School, Mahwah (June 29 through July 31, 2026) 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
• LEAP @ Paramus High School (June 29 through August 7, 2026) Paramus 8:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
• Saddle River Wonder Program @ Wandell, Saddle River (June 29 through August 6, 2026, Mon-Thur, four (4) days/week) Educational Enterprises (flexible hours/makeup dates as needed)
