We offer a competitive benefits package to our full-time employees and we are always accepting applications from qualified candidates.Duties & Responsibilities:Reviewing and addressing occupational health claims to ensure proper payments are received according to the payers' contractReviewing unprocessed claims within the payers' timely filing limits for resubmission of claims for paymentResearching Eligibility of Benefits (EOB) to verify correct payment and adjustments are posted to patient accountsResearching Eligibility of Benefits (EOB) to determine if unpaid balances need to be appealed to the appropriate Worker's Compensation CommitteeResearching denied claims or claims with no response to determine proper follow up steps be take to obtain paymentCorrecting registrations on Worker's Compensation accounts and refiling claimsAddressing account inquiries and/or update requests in a timely mannerEstablishing and maintaining a working relationship with payer representatives to ensure proper claim filing and reimbursementEffectively communicate trends or issues to the appropriate staffMaintains confidentiality in regards to patient account status and the financial affairs of the clinic/corporationRegular and reliable attendancePresents to work on time as scheduledPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorPosting occupational health and worker's compensation paymentsAnswer client inquiries via phone and email dailyQualifications:High school graduate or equivalentMinimum of 1-year previous medical experience requiredFull-time benefits packageCollaborative, supportive team cultureMultiple locations with consistent patient volumeOpportunities for professional growth and advancementCompetitive pay: $15–$27/hour.
