We also offer a relocation stipend for anyone joining us from 75 miles or more from Denver! ****STATUS**:** Full time school year, benefits eligible, exempt, in-person position (Denver, CO)****START**:** First day of new staff training at the end of July. You can view the current School Year Calendar here. ****KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES****Our physical education teachers believe in wellness for the whole child and teach critical habits for physical, mental, and emotional wellness as well as sportsmanship, inclusion, and drive.* Exhibit mastery and enthusiasm for the assigned academic subjects and classes* Work closely and collaboratively with students, parents, and other teachers within the school and throughout the DSST network.* Teach 3-5 classes a day of various lengths depending on the DSST campus and subject area.* Use the network’s curriculum and standards to plan and implement targeted lessons and assessments for each student including differentiating for the needs of all learners.* Keep an up-to-date gradebook for each class.* Work to implement and master DSST Public Schools’ core instructional and culturally responsive and relevant teaching practices* Additional duties as assigned such as supporting student recruitment, running a small group advisory class, after school tutoring, etc. See many of our possible duties here.****MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS***** Bachelor's Degree* In-Field Status: There are multiple ways to demonstrate content knowledge to serve as a teacher with DSST Public Schools!
