What you will be doing: Reporting to the Director, Sales & Catering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Key Responsibilities: Lead and grow the wedding, social, and special event segments, developing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with wedding planners, social event organizers, community partners, and prospective clients. Oversee the sales process for weddings and social events, including site inspections, proposal development, contract negotiations, and event planning. Ensure a seamless and elevated client experience throughout the planning and execution process. Collaborate closely with hotel departments, including Operations, Culinary, Banquets, and Revenue Management, to ensure successful event delivery. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities. Prepare forecasts, sales reports, and revenue projections for Director of Sales Coach, mentor, and support team members to achieve individual and departmental goals. Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue goals and drive market growth. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of hotel catering operations, event planning, and contract negotiation. Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating memorable events.
