Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of post-operative and medical conditions including sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, and infections.
• Float to telemetry units as needed and successfully complete dysrhythmia exam prior to contract start.
• Conduct responsibilities with adherence to a 50-mile radius rule for traveler status.
• Pass the SIMs Lab which includes skills like Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes.
• Manage heparin drips following facility guidelines and policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care teams and contribute to the unit’s learning and development as a newly established program.

Qualifications

• Active RN License in the state of Arizona, or compact license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Recent med/surg experience and willingness to float to tele as required.
• Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma center and telemetry is preferred.
• Ability to pass SIMs Lab and orientation assessment with demonstrated competence in sterile field maintenance.
• Compliance with facility appearance policies, including natural hair color and no facial piercings.
