Neurosurgery Inpatient (Day Shift) Advanced Practice Provider

The Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing team. The selected candidate will partner with a multidisciplinary team of neuroscience providers to deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative evidence-based care under the general supervision of a physician in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities will include organizing and presenting patient data during daily rounds, performing appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and providing patients with health maintenance and follow-up care. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care, or an ER setting as an Advanced Practice Provider. Candidates must have a national Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification, or Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire. Schedule requirements are 8 AM - 5 PM, with weekend, and rotating holidays, as needed.
