Radiology Technologist with Charge Responsibilities Providence Hillsboro, OR NEW Full Time Description Radiology Technologist with Charge Responsibilities at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full‑Time/Evening Shift – (4) 10‑hour shifts $6,000 Sign‑On Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. This Radiologic Technologist has shift charge responsibilities including exam workflow, staff training, addressing equipment and safety concerns, coordinating and collaborating with multiple departments within the facility. The technologist also performs imaging examinations according to physicians’ orders, utilizing sophisticated imaging equipment and taking into account individual patient needs. They apply clinical knowledge and judgment for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment to produce optimal, high‑quality images while maintaining ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients and operators. Required Qualifications: Education that meets certification, license, or registration requirements. Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. New graduates must hold an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
