Administrative Specialist II

Job Responsibilities

The person in this position will assist with the enrollment and payment process for professional development opportunities to South Carolina Educators who need renewal and/or graduate credit courses. Monitor program procedures for delivery of services before, during, and after each session. Serve as internal/external contact for VirtualSC professional development program area, to include problem solving, troubleshooting registration problems, and identifying program development needs as a result of working with potential and current customers. Provide general support to educators registering for online professional development courses and act as general customer service contact for the program. Provide additional administrative support to the professional development program. Perform other duties as required. This position is located in the Office of VirtualSC.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with education, virtual education, or customer service.

Additional Comments
