Nursing Supervisor

Job Title: Nursing Supervisor Location: RWJUH Somerset, 110 Rehill Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876 Pay Range: $113,300.00 - $147,500.00 per year Status: Salaried, Shift: Evening Job Overview The Nursing Supervisor acts as an administrative liaison and coordinates patient care activities. Requires ability to recognize priority situations, act, and make appropriate decisions. Addresses system issues to facilitate the provision of quality and efficient care. Facilitates timely transfer of patients to designated clinical areas. Utilizes escalation process to resolve issues/problems. Utilizes bed prioritization process criteria to ensure patient flow and admission. Excellent communication, leadership ability, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required. Scheduling Requirements 36 hours per week Evenings 11a-11pm Monday-Friday and every other weekend 7a-7p Required Qualifications BSN required Minimum 3 years clinical/hospital experience Preferred Qualifications MSN preferred 3-5 years prior supervisory/management experience preferred Certifications and Licenses Required American Heart Association BLS, ACLS required Current New Jersey RN license Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
