Key Responsibilities: * Operating Class A vehicles * Delivering goods from distribution centers to our stores punctually and within set guidelines * Collecting backhauls from various vendors and transporting them to distribution centers efficiently * Performing yard switching (trailer movement on-site) as required * Maintaining a responsible and professional demeanor at all times * This is a full-time, year-round position * Local routes with daily home returns Qualifications: * Must be at least 21 years old * Minimum of one year of truck driving experience or successful completion of an accredited truck driving program * Possess a valid CDL-A license (must have or be able to obtain a Hazmat endorsement, as we are a certified Hazmat carrier) * No moving violations within the past year * No more than two moving violations in the last three years * Must obtain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) from the Michigan Secretary of State and present it during the interview (not older than thirty days) * Must successfully complete a road test administered by our management, covering various factors over a distance of twenty miles * Must pass a DOT physical examination and a pre-employment drug screening * Availability to work nights, days, holidays, and weekends * Customer-focused mindset—always considering the needs of customers * Results-driven—aiming to exceed goals and prioritize outcomes * Strong ethics and values—acting in accordance with core principles during both good and challenging times * Interpersonal skills—effectively relating to diverse individuals and fostering strong relationships
