Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Engineers and Designers Summary We are seeking all levels of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Engineers and Designers for our expanding team across the southern US. Selected candidates will work on alternative delivery projects, including mega‑projects. Key Roles Junior, mid‑level and senior level MOT Engineers and Task Leads MOT CAD Designers Desired Skillsets Design/Build or Alternative Delivery project experience Experience or interest in developing design packages for highway improvement projects Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads Experience in all aspects of MOT design, including: cross sections, typical cross sections, traffic control plans, profiles, temporary signing and pavement markings, detour routes Qualifications by Level BS Degree or equivalent education and/or experience (for CAD Designers) Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or equivalent Mid‑Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or equivalent Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or equivalent Preferred Qualifications EIT Certification or PE License Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Relocation assistance may be available for this role. These positions are expected to be hybrid (remote/in‑office) and based out of a local AECOM office.
