How you'll make an impact in this role

• Capture high-fidelity cardiac imagery and hemodynamics to provide the clinical team with a clear, accurate roadmap for patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Navigate complex diagnostic studies by recognizing subtle pathologies and artifacts, ensuring no critical detail is missed during routine or emergency procedures.
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort by precisely positioning patients and managing technical parameters to minimize stress and maximize image clarity.
• Drive clinical excellence by maintaining meticulous digital records in PACS, ensuring the hand-off to physicians is seamless and the patient's care journey is well-documented.
• Collaborate on departmental integrity by upholding rigorous quality control and regulatory standards, ensuring a safe, high-functioning environment for both staff and patients.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing
    International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
