About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Program Officer (CPO) to lead its student life team during a period of transformative growth. The CPO will be responsible for strategic leadership and program oversight, with a focus on increasing student engagement and deepening Jewish identity. This includes the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy, fostering a supportive team culture, and partnering with the Director of Development on grant-related activities. The role also involves strengthening ties between Israel and students, serving as a trusted resource for Israel education, and overseeing various Israel engagement programs. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 10 years' professional experience, and a proven track record in managing multiple projects, supervising teams, and utilizing data for program evaluation. Applicants for the CPO position at the company should be passionate about working with students and fostering their Jewish growth. The role requires the ability to build deep, personal connections, serve as a role model, and navigate a campus environment to meet the needs of a diverse student population. The CPO will be expected to have exceptional communication skills, be adept at using social media, and be committed to professional development and Jewish learning. Key responsibilities also include student leadership and community building, advising student groups, and providing support to students facing antisemitism. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, a creative problem-solver, and a dedicated advocate for the Jewish community.
