Job Title: Rehabilitation Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years rehabilitation nursing experience License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Basic computer knowledge Effective communication skills Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) Description: This is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized and individualized rehabilitation is offered to those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The facility strives to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Patient ratios are 1:8. Basic equipment is utilized, and the electronic health record system is Cerner. The patient population consists primarily of rehabilitation cases. The ideal candidate must be cooperative and demonstrate a desire to be a team player.
