Location: Chicago, IL Hospital: Rush University Medical Center Department: Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology Position Overview The Section Chief of Electrophysiology will provide leadership and oversight of all operational and programmatic aspects of Electrophysiology at Rush’s downtown location and Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), including expertise in complex ablations, device implantation, LAAO implantation, and lead extraction. Candidates must have an outstanding record of commitment to clinical service, research, and substantial administrative experience. Qualifications Board certified and formally fellowship trained in clinical cardiac electrophysiology Currently at the Associate Professor level or higher Demonstrated commitment to innovation in the field Leadership skills necessary for faculty development and the advancement of clinical and academic missions Commitment to a highly supportive professional atmosphere and substantial growth Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $530,000 - $729,000 (full-time, 1.0 FTE), including base pay, benefits, incentive programs, premium pay rates, sign‑on bonuses, and relocation allowances Comprehensive benefits package Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs.
