Provides advanced care in: Trauma and emergency medicine Stroke care Oncology Cardiology Orthopedics Surgery Recognized as: Comprehensive Stroke Center Level II Trauma Center Highly rated by CMS and The Leapfrog Group Respiratory/Pulmonary Care is integrated into critical and acute care services, supporting patients from emergency treatment through rehabilitation and education. Registered Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities Deliver respiratory care to patients of all age groups. Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and mechanical respiratory procedures. Administers: Oxygen therapy Therapeutic respiratory treatments Arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis Ventilator management Airway management Manage respiratory support from emergency ventilation through recovery. Perform all procedures according to established hospital and departmental policies. Maintain demonstrated competency and proficiency for all assigned respiratory care modalities. Bachelors degree required to perform the duties of a Technical Consultant. Experience: No experience required. New graduates of accredited COARC Respiratory Therapy program accepted. Certification: Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as an RRT. BLS required. ACLS, PALS, and NRP required as appropriate to population served and/or specialty.
