We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Role Summary: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating automated platforms that enable reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of the MX platform across SaaS, cloud, and on-premise environments. You will play a key role in CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, environment management, and production reliability, working closely with development, QA, and client-facing teams. Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD & Release Engineering
\n
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, testing, and deployment across multiple environments
\n
• Ensure pipeline stability, performance, and reliability, minimizing build failures and delays
\n
• Implement automated build, packaging, and deployment processes
\n
• Enforce version control best practices (branching strategies, tagging, artifact management)
\n
• Support release cycles, including validation, smoke testing, and rollback strategies
\n
• Automation
\n
• Plan & Code Templates stored in Git repositories alongside application code, allowing template updates to be version-controlled, code-reviewed, and tracked
\n
• Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and upgrades
\n
• Build reusable automation components to improve scalability and consistency
\n
• Reduce manual operations through process automation and scripting
\n
• Environment & Platform Management
\n
• Deploy and manage MX environments across development, testing, and production stages
\n
• Handle environment lifecycle:
\n
• Provisioning
\n
• Configuration
\n
• Upgrades & patching
\n
• Decommissioning
\n
• Ensure environments are standardized, reproducible, and compliant
\n
• Support multi-client and multi-environment setups in SaaS or hybrid models
\n
• Monitoring, Observability & Reliability (SRE mindset)
\n
• Implement and maintain:

• Alerting

• Ensure end-to-end observability of platforms and pipelines

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on incidents

• Contribute to improving system reliability, SLAs, and operational KPIs

• Data & Environment Operations

• Manage environment data lifecycle:

• Data provisioning
\n
• Data masking for non-prod environments
\n
• Data sampling and reduction
\n
• Support database operations:
\n
• Migration
\n
• Sanitization
\n
• Reconciliation
\n
• Ensure compliance with security and data governance requirements
\n
• Incident & Support Management
\n
• Act as a technical escalation point for environment and platform incidents
\n
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, pipelines, and environments
\n
• Coordinate with support and product teams for resolution
\n
• Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing
\n
• Collaboration & Delivery Enablement
\n
• Collaborate with:

• Development teams (integration into CI/CD pipelines)
\n
• QA teams (test automation and environment consistency)
\n
• Product teams (release readiness and constraints)

• Client teams (technical coordination and delivery)

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
\n
• Version control systems: Git (advanced usage)
\n
• Proficiency in template engines, specifically FreeMarker (FTL)
\n
• Scripting: Shell, Python, Groovy
\n
• Operating systems: Linux/Unix
\n
• Cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure/GCP is a plus
\n
• Databases: RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar) DevOps & Platform Expertise
\n
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines in complex environments
\n
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
\n
• Exposure to SaaS / distributed architectures Soft Skills

Skills

Must have

• 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD

• Hands-on experience in production or client-facing environments preferred
