As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will play a key role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced urgent care environment. What You Can Expect From This Role

Schedule: Variable schedule with a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts each week. Eagle Urgent Care is open:

• Monday through Friday: 7:00 a.m. 10:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. 10:00 p.m.

This position offers variety in scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, collect health information, and prepare patients for evaluation and treatment.
• Support providers with patient care needs, including clinical procedures, treatments, medications, and diagnostic testing within scope of practice.
• Assist with drug screens and occupational health services.
• Manage patient flow and support efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Provide excellent customer service while assisting with clinical documentation, follow-up tasks, and care coordination.

CMA Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Certifications

• Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
• Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
