Manager, Category Indirect Procurement

PCI Pharma Services seeks a Manager of Category Indirect Procurement to develop and execute procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization across assigned categories. The remote role involves end-to-end sourcing activities, cross-functional collaboration, and integration of ESG initiatives within the pharmaceutical services supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies informed by stakeholder requirements and market research
• Conduct spend analysis, should-cost modeling, and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Manage supplier relationships and lead end-to-end sourcing from strategy through contract execution
• Design performance monitoring and risk management processes to track category metrics
• Lead negotiation strategies and cross-functional sourcing activities including RFX development

Requirements

• 8+ years procurement or category management experience, preferably multinational
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Strong category management expertise and procurement process knowledge
• Proven supplier relationship management and performance monitoring track record
• Data analysis and market intelligence capabilities with analytical tools
• Negotiation experience backed by cost modeling and market-based arguments
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
