Santa Monica, CA Benefits - Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities - Assist in surgeries and provide support in clinics within the hospital setting.- Perform radial and endoscopic vein harvesting.- Interpret EKGs, X-rays, labs, and manage ECMO, IABP, and Impella.- Manage patients in ICU/step-down units.- Participate in a shared call schedule and ensure high standards of care during call-back scenarios. Qualifications - Must be a licensed Physician Assistant in California with an active CA DEA.- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.- Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.- Strong skills in surgical procedures and critical patient management required.- Board Certification is necessary. Working Hours - Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)- Call rotations: weekdays 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekends 3:00 PM Friday - 7:00 AM Monday Skills - Proficiency in surgical assisting, including vein harvesting and interpretation of various cardiovascular diagnostics.- Strong patient management skills, especially in critical care settings.- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities within a multidisciplinary team.- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced medical environments.
