FIREARMS ASSEMBLER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Firearms Assembler for a company based in Lawrenceville, GA . In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a growing manufacturing team specializing in firearm assembly and testing. This position is ideal for dependable individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy hands-on work in a production environment.
Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday
5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Assignment Duration
At least through the end of the year
Firearms Assembler Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble firearms and related components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Use powered and non-powered hand tools, including pneumatic air drivers, electric drills, and precision screwdrivers.
- Inspect assembled products for accuracy and quality.
- Perform functional testing and live-fire testing of equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation as needed.
Firearms Assembler Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be reliable and report to work on time every day.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Knowledge of firearms and previous firearm assembly experience preferred.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Comfortable performing live-fire testing when required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for individual performance.
- Ability to meet production and quality expectations consistently.
