Altered Athletics Altered Athletics, a premier women-only gym located in Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fitness, social media, and content creation. The ideal candidate is eager to build our brand’s online presence, drive lead generation, and engage with our community of empowered women. Key Responsibilities: 1. Content Creation: - Develop engaging, high-quality content (photos, videos, graphics) that resonates with our target audience of female fitness enthusiasts. - Collaborate with the team to capture in-gym experiences, client testimonials, and workout routines. - Stay up-to-date with fitness trends and incorporate them into content that aligns with the Altered Athletics brand. 2. Content Posting: - Manage and execute the daily posting schedule across all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. - Use creative captions and hashtags to optimize reach and engagement. - Monitor the performance of posts and adjust strategies to increase follower engagement. 3. Outreach & Engagement: - Grow Altered Athletics' social media following through proactive engagement, including commenting, liking, and direct outreach to prospective clients. - Respond to comments and messages to foster a positive community environment. 4. Lead Generation: - Implement strategies to convert social media traffic into gym memberships or class sign-ups. - Use social media insights to identify potential leads and engage with them through targeted outreach. - Track and report key metrics, such as follower growth, engagement rates, and lead conversion from social media efforts. Qualifications: - Passion for fitness, especially in women-focused environments. - Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). - Experience with basic content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, or equivalent). - Strong communication skills and an eye for visual aesthetics. - Creative, detail-oriented, and organized with a passion for storytelling through social media.
