Senior Manager, Lung Cross Portfolio, US Operations

The Opportunity:

The Senior Manager, Lung Cross Portfolio Operations role is essential to building operations capabilities across the US Lung Commercialization organization and contributing to achievement of cross functional, disease area and enterprise goals and objectives. The ideal candidate is a very proficient and proactive operations lead with strong ability to integrate planning across functions and enterprise stakeholders. This role will be a connector across the organization ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities, decision making and accountability in terms of functional goals and deliverables. They will be an integral member of the US Commercialization NSCLC launch readiness team, and will partner across functions to support the planning and pull through of launch strategies. This is a visible role which requires strong relationships across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Corporate Communications, HR, Finance, etc partners. This role requires strong project management and execution, cross functional collaboration, strategic planning, the ability to thrive in ambiguity, and a passion to build for effective outcomes and impact for patients. Key areas of responsibility include:

Lung Cross Functional Launch Readiness Support

• Understand Commercialization launch strategies, stakeholders functional priorities and interdependencies and works cross functionally to develop and facilitate execution against plans.
• Plan for strategic planning discussions to drive timely decision-making and lead for meeting and information management including timely meeting agendas and documentation of meeting materials, decisions, follow up actions in cross functional launch forums.
• Act as primary portfolio operations contact for the cross functional launch forums and launch meetings.
• Manage the integrated launch plan and tracker - accounting for goals, objectives, deliverables, decisions, risks to align enterprise planning and tracking of launch progress.
• Manage an efficient information flow within the cross functional workstreams, and manage the preparation, review, editing and submission of project documents, presentations for internal advisory and governance meetings.
• Identify critical path activities, resource constraints, risks, and conflicts that could impact the timelines or budget; work with subject matter experts to construct appropriate mitigation plans.
• Contribute to scenario planning (comprising costs, timelines, risks, and project strategy) to inform stage gate, portfolio, budget and long-range planning.
• Partnering with Legal, Compliance and Medical and other stakeholders to establish and maintain appropriate commercial governance, SOPs, and controls to enable effective, compliant commercialization in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards and company policies.
• Partner with US Region Operations Portfolio and Disease Area Launch leads to share and learn from launch best practices and develop launch excellence resources to leverage across potential brands.

Business Operations Support

• Develop and champion US Commercialization’s ways of working and plays a pivotal role in communications, making sure that the teams have access to accurate and timely information regarding program decisions, assumptions, expectations and timeline.

• Recommend and implement opportunities for streamlining team and business processes.

• Point of contact and coordination of Lung portfolio tactical, budget and reforecast planning across commercialization teams in partnership with US Region Operations for reviews and submission.

• Assess support of Disease Area cross functional insights sharing forum coordinating across Regional Insights and Engagement team, Medical Science Liasons and Medical strategy leads.

• Lead Lung Disease Area onboarding of new team members on DA strategies and connect with relevant stakeholders and commercialization resources.

• Partner with congress planning team to support coordinated communications to prepare for large congresses, including vendor oversight, for major conferences.

• Lead coordination of cross functional offsite planning working in partnership with functional leadership and external vendors, and provide guidance to admin business partners.

• Partner with the functional leads to monitor progress against KPI’s and goals and ensure the team achieves and maintains a high-level of sustainable performance. Identify and resolve issues related to efficient and effective team operation.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required with 7-9 years of experience of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with at least 3-5 years of working with Commercial and Medical Affairs functional teams.

• Understanding of key commercial process, interdependencies, and regulations, coupled with strong proficiency in project management practices, tools, and methodology.

• Track record of being a collaborative team player, building positive partnerships, and adapting to meet the needs of a growing business.

• Strong critical thinker and problem solver with proactive mindset to build and manage processes that drive accountability and results.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct, and timely communication and proven ability to foster important relationships with key stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to influence management and key business partners without authority

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, yet be agile to changes to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.

• Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication and represent Revolution Medicines and embodies our corporate values.

• Proficient in Powerpoint, Excel, Word, and variety of project management (i.e., smartsheets) and communication platforms (ie, Teams, portal development, newsletters).

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS, etc) with 3+ years of commercial launch experience.

• Experience supporting oncology product launches, particularly in small or growing biotech environments.

• Experience building and leading commercialization operations, PMO, organizational effectiveness, or business operations functions.

Base Pay Salary Range

$164,000—$205,000 USD
