Location: 420 5th Ave, New York, NY 10018 Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote) Salary: $93,000 - $111,000 Position Overview The Senior Account Executive manages relationships to grow existing major accounts and utilizes effective sales techniques to develop new accounts. This position may oversee high‑profile brands and may also manage Account Executives and/or Associate Account Executives. Essential Role Functions Develops and implements a business plan for their accounts to achieve sales and profitability goals. Works closely with Merchandising and Design on determining trends and working on design direction for assigned brands, as well as assortment planning. Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to foster collaboration and strengthen partnerships. Develops and manages new products, brands, or categories based on market trends and customer needs analysis; builds a business case to support the viability of the proposal. Collaborates and shares information with the Account Management team and other departments regarding emerging industry developments and competitor intelligence. Works with the Forecasting team on seasonal forecasts to ensure appropriate inventory levels are supported. Mentors and trains Associate Account Executives and Account Executives in account management and sales skills regardless of reporting structure. Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree/experience At least 5 years of Sales or Buying experience Retail buying office or vendor/wholesale industry experience (preferred) Technical Skills Proficient understanding and execution of Retail Math Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Outlook proficiency Strong negotiation skills Ability to analyze and interpret information promptly Professional Skills Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills Excellent problem‑solving skills Strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation skills for internal and external audiences Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑through Energetic, enthusiastic, and action‑oriented Highly motivated, professional, and dependable Self‑motivated with a positive contribution to team dynamics Additional Qualifications Ability to travel frequently on domestic and international trips (25% - 30%) Previous overseas travel experience (preferred) Ability to receive, lift, open, and unpack boxes containing product samples Ability to represent the company at industry functions, community events, and business dinners What We Offer Competitive base salary Hybrid work schedule Three weeks of paid time off within the first year of employment Company‑provided life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, and paid parental leave Health, vision, and dental insurance options with low employee contributions Commuter benefit plan Optional supplemental life insurance, pet insurance, and accident & critical illness insurance offered at a group discount rate 401(k) Unlimited access to our award‑winning online fitness and wellness program A great place to work, fast‑paced, with terrific career growth #J-18808-Ljbffr Randa Apparel & Accessories
