Access Control Technician

Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to join our growing team in Attleboro, MA. This role is ideal for a skilled Security Systems Technician with experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated gate systems, access control systems, and electronic security equipment.The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience working with gate operators, keycard access systems, security controls, and related security technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair automated gate systems and access control equipmentPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on security systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot access control system malfunctions and gate operator issuesProgram access control systems and security devices according to customer requirementsProvide technical support and system recommendations to customersPrepare detailed service reports and maintenance documentationEnsure all installations meet industry safety standards and security system best practicesQualificationsProven work experience as an Access Control Technician, Security Technician, or Low Voltage TechnicianKnowledge of security systems, automated gates, access control systems, CCTV, and electronic security equipmentStrong troubleshooting, electrical, and technical problem-solving skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a background check and motor vehicle record checkStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and travel to job sites in the Attleboro, MA areaPreferred Skills (a plus)Experience with low voltage wiring and security system installationFamiliarity with card readers, keypads, gate operators, intercom systems, and surveillance systemsExperience in commercial security system service or field technician rolesWhy Work With Staffworks GroupCompetitive hourly pay: $25–$30/hrSteady work with a growing security and automation industryOpportunity to expand skills in access control, security technology, and automated gate systemsCall or email Pam View phone number on click.appcast.io View email address on click.appcast.io
