Overview Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial operations, is seeking a Millwright to join their team. As a Millwright, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting operational excellence and equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Millwright Location: Portland, OR Pay Range: $45 Shift: Monday through Friday Responsibilities Installing, aligning, and troubleshooting conveyors including belt, roller, chain, and screw types Working extensively with fabricated metal frames, weldments, and custom-built equipment Cutting, welding, and fitting components as part of installations, repairs, and field modifications Reading and interpreting blueprints, fabrication drawings, and mechanical layouts Diagnosing mechanical failures involving bearings, pulleys, shafts, drives, and gearboxes What’s Needed? Ideally 5–10+ years of experience as a millwright or senior industrial mechanical professional Background in fabrication shops, manufacturing plants, or conveyor-focused operations Ability to make on-the-fly mechanical and fabrication adjustments in the field Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques Experience leading crews of up to 10 people in shop and field environments What’s in it for me?
