GENERAL DESCRIPTION:   Exciting opportunity. Elm Manor is eager to welcome the right candidate to our team. The individual must have a love for Geriatrics and work comfortable within a team. Our facility is small and we take pride in our family like setting! This Receptionist position is part-time position, Sunday - Monday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday - Thursday from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• Experience in Long Term Care preferred

• Must be Covid vaccinated

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with Business Office Manager regarding mail, resident payments, and complete initial meet & greet with residents

• Sort and distribute all mail to appropriate departments

• Answering facility phone and directing calls to appropriate department

• Filing/scanning paperwork for HR and Nursing as needed

• Working alongside activities & nursing to assist with scheduling in-person family visitation

• Scheduling transportation for resident visits

• Assist Nursing with creating new resident files, uploading documents to the EMR and properly storing previous resident records

• Ensure all staff, visitors, and other personal that enter the building utilize the check-in station

• Socialize with residents and engage in activity events as able to offer

• Complete all other tasks as assigned by Administration

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to work in a team concept and communicate effectively with staff at all levels, community groups, families and residents.

• The receptionist will interact frequently with residents, families, and other visitors, so a smiling face and friendly demeanor is a must!

• The ability to organize, plan and manage time effectively.

• The flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and situations.
