School Registered Nurse (RN)

The School Registered Nurse oversees the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. The School RN supports the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students within the school setting. The School RN plays an essential role in promoting the health and safety, responding to medical emergencies, managing chronic conditions and serving as a liaison between families, school staff and healthcare providers. The School RN provides services in accordance with Amergis' philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Position Details:

• Monday - Friday, daytime, school year schedule

• School Year Contract (W-2)

• Full-Time, 36.5 hours weekly

• Independent work environment

• $32 - $34 hourly

• Weekly Pay

• Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K)

• No Interview

• Start date flexible / as soon as possible

• Locations all throughout Hillsborough County

• Incentive for Bilingual (Spanish) required positions

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida

• Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• 2 years of RN experience, including 2 years of recent pediatric experience

• Willingness to learn a new setting if needed

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Within 35 minutes driving distance to Hillsborough County
