Assignment Details
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements
- NY LPN Licensure
- BLS Certification (through AHA or RQI)
- 1 year of experience as an LPN, specifically in a Long Term Care Facility

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Collect data related to residents' physical and psychosocial conditions, communicating findings to the nursing team.
- Contribute to the development and adjustment of individual care plans to ensure they meet the residents' needs.
- Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practices while engaging in continuing education initiatives.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality care and satisfaction.
- Participate in mentoring or orientation of new staff, demonstrating leadership within the practice setting.

Compliance / Notes
- Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.
- Required tasks involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
