Chesney, Nicholas & Brower, LLP, is an expanding civil litigation defense firm based in Syosset, NY. Since 1985, our firm has represented clients in all aspects of civil litigation, primarily focusing on general negligence, Labor Law/construction, motor vehicle and professional/medical malpractice.

We are currently looking for an attorney with a minimum of 7 years defense litigation experience, having proficiency with lawsuits involving the New York State Labor Law/construction site accidents.

Remote or Hybrid (based on experience)

CNB is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its high-performing and close-knit litigation team. Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 (Experience contingent).  We also offer generous year end bonuses.

Litigation Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload from inception through resolution generally covering premises liability and New York Labor Law;
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and case strategy documents;
• Conduct and defend depositions;
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement conferences;
• Collaborate with partners on trial prep, legal strategy, and client communication;
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trial testimony;
• Ensure timely case progression and meet all litigation deadlines and billing requirements.

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $175,000 dependent on experience. In addition, we offer a strong benefits package as well as very generous, merit based bonuses.
