About this Role Position Summary: The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role ensures alignment with company policies and adherence to Texas and federal employment laws while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. What You'll Do Key Responsibilities: 1. Employee Relations Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and workplace issues Support conflict resolution and conduct investigations when necessary Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement initiatives 2. Compliance & Policy Administration Ensure compliance with federal, state (Texas), and local employment laws Davis‑Bacon compliance, prevailing wage compliance Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and procedures Assist with audits and reporting requirements 3. Benefits & Compensation Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries 4. Performance Management Coordinate performance review processes Provide guidance to managers on employee development and disciplinary actions Track and support training and development initiatives 4. HR Administration Maintain employee records and uploads Prepare HR reports and metrics (turnover, retention, etc.) Assist with special HR projects as needed Recruitment & Onboarding Provide back‑up support for recruiting and onboarding as needed.
