Job Opportunity: Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physicians

We are excited to announce that our organization is looking for full-time Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Physicians to join our practices located in Long Island.

About Us

Our facility, an esteemed acute care teaching hospital situated in Oceanside, New York, is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare. Serving the entire South Shore of Long Island, our compassionate team caters to communities from the Rockaways in Queens to Massapequa and beyond. With a capacity of 455 beds, over 900 physicians, and a workforce of 3,500 employees, we are one of the largest hospitals in the region.

We are currently seeking a board-certified Family Medicine Physician to become a core faculty member in our residency program.

Practice Overview

Our multispecialty group practice, located in Hewlett on the South Shore, offers a wide range of adult primary care services and specialties, including:

• Endocrinology
• Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine
• Pulmonary Medicine

We also provide on-site radiology services and have a dedicated team from our Transplantation Institute that regularly visits to assist patients with liver, kidney, pancreas, and intestinal conditions that may necessitate transplantation. Our practice is committed to delivering comprehensive care through a collaborative approach involving highly-trained physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, and patient care associates.

Position Responsibilities

• Work within a large, collegial multispecialty environment that includes various specialties such as cardiology, neurology, urology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pain management, allergy, radiology, and hematology/oncology.
• Serve a diverse patient population in a community known for its excellent school districts.
• Utilize support staff, including Medical Assistants and Registered Nurses, and benefit from a full-service on-site imaging center equipped with state-of-the-art Siemens MRI and PET CT technology, as well as ultrasound and lab services.
• Employ the Epic EMR system for efficient patient management.
• No teaching, research, or administrative duties are required.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is between $180,000 and $275,000, excluding bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Active New York Medical License and NYS DEA registration.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine (Note: Pediatrics and Obstetrics are not available).

Salary Disclosure

In compliance with New York City’s Salary Transparency law, we provide a salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as experience, specialty, historical productivity, and community needs. The listed salary range pertains to full-time employment and does not include bonuses or benefits.
