iOS Software Engineer, Shortcuts Actions

Responsibilities

Enhance the Shortcuts app by introducing new actions in collaboration with first-party app teams and third-party developers.
Design and implement robust, scalable software and user experiences across Apple platforms.
Develop new features, maintain existing code, fix bugs, and contribute to overall system architecture.
Anticipate issues, guide existing products, and lead development of essential technologies in early stages.
Collaborate across teams and organizations to create system features aligned with new operating system and hardware capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience building software and applications in Objective-C or Swift.
Familiarity with Xcode, lldb, and Instruments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred: experience creating complex and performant user interfaces with UIKit, AppKit, or SwiftUI.
Preferred: strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
