This role ensures performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency across the production site.The primary focus is to analyze workflows and operational processes to identify the most efficient sequence of operations and maximize utilization of equipment and personnel.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and continuously improve quality and efficiency performance within assigned areasDesign, develop, and procure production tooling, equipment, and workstationsCoordinate facility layouts and workstation moves to support production needsDevelop time studies and cost estimates for proposed projectsOptimize changeover processes by standardizing setups where possibleEnsure preventive maintenance activities are completed on scheduleReduce machine-generated scrap by analyzing production data and implementing corrective actionsMinimize manual assembly scrap through quality monitoring and process improvementsAnalyze workforce utilization, facility layout, and operational data (including production costs, process flows, and schedules) to drive efficiency improvementsEnsure compliance with all safety, health, and security policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Knowledge & SkillsBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar field 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of industrial engineering tools and methodologies, including:Work measurementProcess mappingFacility and workstation designStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction programsEffective communication and collaboration skillsTechnical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft ProjectWorking knowledge of AutoCADAdditional Preferred KnowledgeUnderstanding of organizational strategy and how site operations support broader business objectivesFamiliarity with manufacturing environments and production systemsBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
