Operating Engineer Develop your engineering career at JLL! The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm Compensation: $25-$30/hour WHAT YOU’LL DO Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, pressure washing cleaning, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, hanging pictures, repair office furniture, locksmith work and general maintenance Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable) Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls Comply with all safety procedures Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs Other projects and tasks to be assigned WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance) Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive Strong customer service skills Valid driver license WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU Join an industry leader and shape the future of commercial real estate Deep investment in cutting-edge technology to power your work Comprehensive and competitive benefits plan A supportive, caring and diverse work environment designed for your growth and well-being This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
